What would happen if the entire world turned to Democracy?

I’m doing a project for school and I need some help; What would happen if the entire world turned to Democracy?
What would happen with the war in the Middle East, etc.
How would the U.S’ trade system be affected?

I really need some help!

    I really doubt the middle east situation would change much. They have a thousand year history of killing those who disagree with them, and I doubt voting would change that. And their position of joining religion with politics would also not go with democracy.

    Tough question! I don’t know about the rest of the world, but America is NOT a democracy; it’s a REPUBLIC.

    In a democracy, the MAJORITY rules! In a REPUBLIC, the MINORITY can (but does not necessarily do so) rule!
